As a springboard to a whole-class activity, ask students to review the time line provided. Direct students to research and find three (or more) interesting facts to add to their own time line. Then, using a long sheet of bulletin board paper attached to a wall, invite students to add their information to the class time line. Students can use a different color marker for each civilization and add a color-coded key to the time line!
