Teaching Tip:
Brainstorm a list of things children might do at night to prepare for the next school day, such as complete their homework, pack school supplies in their bookbag, and set out the clothes they’ll wear. Then have each child write a different activity from the list on each of five index cards and illustrate that activity on the back. Punch a hole in the top left corner of each child’s cards, bind them with a metal ring, and have the child use the cards as a nightly reminder to prepare ahead for the next school day!
