Children work with letter sounds for five different s-blends as they complete a pocket-chart poem!
Common Core Alignments:
Consonant blends (called “clusters” when in print) are consistent in that each letter in a blend always retains its own sound. Demonstrate this by saying several blends, showing how two-letter sounds can be heard when pronouncing bl, tr, and sm, for example.
