What is E-mail? What are search engines? This is a basic unit on Internet use, with particular focus on E-mail and internet search engines!
Students fill out a form to become familiar with the different parts of an email (from, to, CC, BCC, subject, body). They also complete a Venn Diagram to compare E-mail to traditional U.S. Mail. Students also explore the reasons to use a search engine, consider methods for determining reliable vs. unreliable websites, and conduct an Internet scavenger hunt!
