Kids will love drawing this 6-step inchworm picture—independently! This reproducible lesson helps kids build fine motor skills, learn shapes, and practice following directions. Includes writing prompts and creative extension activities.
Cut strips of paper in three different lengths: 3 inches, 6 inches, and 12 inches. You will need three strips for each student (one of each length). Invite children to draw three inchworms—one on each strip—following the directions provided. Encourage children to make their inchworms as long as the strips. Kids can then use their inchworms for measuring fun!
