Symmetry Trees: Differentiated Math Learning Center

Product Description:

To learn about symmetry in this ongoing center, students (first visit) create a symmetrical tree with scissors and folded construction paper, then (second visit) they decorate one side (1/2) of their tree, finally (third visit) decorate the other 1/2 of their tree to match the first side! The trees make great classroom decorations!

Teaching Tip:

Number and Operations: You may limit students to a specific number of decorations they may put on a side, thus reinforcing one-to-one correspondence!
