Mandalas have their origin in Eastern spirituality. They are geometric, colorful patterns that may sometimes represent the universe or aid in meditation. Students will create a mandala after they close their eyes and meditate on what is most important to them!
This project is best as individual work. The objectives are to listen and reflect attentively; to draw shapes and line, and experiment with color; and to write from the heart!
