Grades 3 - 5
In each lesson, the Instructional Steps give clear, step-by-step directions to help you get students to use the strategy successfully on their own. These steps are divided into three sections: Introduction, Teacher Modeling and Guided Practice, and Directions for Independent Application. Following the steps gradually releases the responsibility of the strategy to students, either as a solo activity or with a partner!
