Kids will love drawing this 6-step ladybug picture—independently! This reproducible lesson helps kids build fine motor skills, learn shapes, and practice following directions. Includes writing prompts and creative extension activities.
Invite children to draw large ladybugs on 8-1/2" x 11" sheets of white construction paper. Than have them paint the ladybugs with red and black paint. When the paint has dried, kids can cu out the ladybugs. To make a ladybug pillow, they can trace their ladybug onto another sheet of paper and cut out the shape. Staple these shapes together, leaving an opening to stuff the pillow with shredded newspaper. When you are done stuffing the pillow, staple the opening.
